Goose Gossage Success - December 22nd, 2011 In late July to early August 2011, I mailed Hall of Fame Pitcher Rich "Goose" Gossage a LOR, SASE, and 1989 Topps Baseball card to the Colorado Springs address in the database. I did NOT send a fee. I did not think this one was coming back because of it. On December 22, 2011, I received my signed baseball card. It did not have Hall of Fame Inscription, but I am not anal about that like many collectors are. The signature is most important to me. I could care less about the inscription. Most everyone knows who the Hall of Famers are and I dont need 3 letters and 2 numbers to tell me so on a signed item. Very nice signature Goose. Thank You! - |

Goose Gossage success - December 15th, 2011 On 11/21/2011, I sent a letter, card and SASE to Goose Gossage, Hall of Fame pitcher. I decided to send it to him since several people had successes with him. I received the card today 12/15/2011 signed with his HOF year. Great success! He was the first relief pitcher who became a serious closer and was so intimidating. I sent it to the address in the database. |
